Speaker screws

Does anyone have the size specs for the front (dash) speaker screws and the rear (sail panel) speaker screws?

Tried searching, couldn't find anything.

Thank you,

Re: Delco Radios with Aux jacks for sale

Do you have a YE2 radio out of an 86 Z28? It's the 5 band EQ style. I'd prefer NO auxiliary jack.

Thank you!

I'm moving back to Wisconsin. Maybe I'll get back into the thirdgen ring someday. Car has been sitting in the garage for 2-3 years now.

Yep, owners manual or a service manual. Worst case if you contact a dealership they should be able to check the service manual for you. Good luck.

Re: Calling all WISCONSINITES

It was in "rough" shape. Had the peeling paint problem that plagued the Van Nuys (spelling?) cars. It was also winter driven so it has some rust.

Re: Trying to break into 11's

I'd go no larger than a 700 cfm carb on that thing. I feel like a mistake that a lot of people make is to slap a big carb on a motor that might not need it.

Re: Anyone used their Camaro to tow anything?

It's designed like that. The car absorbs the energy not the passengers.

Sell your Camaro and buy a small truck. Don't pull anything behind it.

Yeup. I have a 70 mile drive to the track. A lot of guys drive further than that too. Being only a hour away is a pretty slick deal.

Hard to say without knowing the flow specs on the heads and the compression ratio, but assuming it's just an average build 350, would guess not over 350 hp at the crank. *shrug*

Things can be done for cheap if you can find the parts for cheap. I would think 500 bucks for just the tranny swap might be tight though. You're just looking for a 5 speed right?>

Might have been an aftermarket ttop install.

I doubt your car had 4.11s from the factory. Either someone installed 4.11s or they aren't even 4.11s in your rear at all.

Find a car with a 350. The bigger the better as stated before.

Since most people here are on a budget it's the motor of choice. In general, it will respond better to mods than anything else.
