Actually, yes, the car is still for sale! I actually just warranty'd out the Optima battery that had gone flat in it... So it has a fresh red-top in it now. :)

I would try to verify your grounds--I believe there is a primary ground that goes to the back of the cylinder head on the passenger side. Other than that perhaps try another ECM?

You put the wrong fuel pump in... The TBI pumps are different, as they run ~15psi instead 40+ psi for TPI...

Ahhh, that is correct. The Speed Density V6 cars (ECM 1227730) have computer controlled fan. The older MAF (2.8L) ones had a fan switch (as my '88 originally did).

Depends on how it bent... If it bent the rod sideways when it went, then yeah, you could be hosed pretty good, I would imagine you might not be able to turn it at all...

i always use blue RTV on both sides of the water pump gaskets.. clean the surface up real nice, wipe down with a brake-clean sprayed towel, and install with rtv-applied gaskets... get the pump...

That little white flying-saucer looking gadget is an air check valve. It allows air into the tank only. There is a tank pressure control valve up in the engine compartment off of the vapor line...

The sender for the temperature gauge/light is separate from the sender for the radiator fan, so you should be okay.. The fan switch is on the passenger side head, close to the back.
