yes, check radiator cap. Also a sbc has a coolant bypass port so if the heater core was blocked I don’t think that would make any difference. Blown head gasket could cause overheating. But firstly I...

I think with the lg4s with the dual pumps the electric pusher pump in the tank is just designed to push fuel to the inlet of the mech fuel pump. I think if the electric pusher pump is completely not...

and the 1985-1986 LG4, having flat tappet cams, and also flat top pistons, are different than the 1984 which has dished pistons, and 1987 with a roller cam. So many different engines in these cars.

Yea. I remove the starter and can just barely fit my arm up from the bottom with an open end wrench. Everything around that back corner of the engine is pretty tight with the heater box..

If they are stock cast iron manifolds they can be left on, if they are aftermarket headers they might not clear the heater box on the passenger side, there are so many variations in aftermarket...

Anything between 190 and 230 would be ideal for a sbc. I use a 180 degree thermostat and a 185 degree fan switch with a stock radiator and stock single fan in a drag car which I cruise on the street...
