Re: How would you do this?

Are you going to rebuild the 305 and want 300+ out of that or are you willing to buy a used 350 block and build that. One of my cars use to have a 400hp 305 but it needed good heads and a pretty...

Re: overheating to 260*!!! Ive done everything!

yes, check radiator cap. Also a sbc has a coolant bypass port so if the heater core was blocked I don’t think that would make any difference. Blown head gasket could cause overheating. But firstly I...

Re: Fuel pump woes - 305 4bbl

I think with the lg4s with the dual pumps the electric pusher pump in the tank is just designed to push fuel to the inlet of the mech fuel pump. I think if the electric pusher pump is completely not...

Re: Coolent started to boil + radiator fans not spinning

If it hit 260 for 40 seconds I don’t think it would have caused any damage.
my car had a broken power wire going to the relay which caused the fans not to turn on. I would first check fuses and...

Re: How to keep my cool??

For the OPs car would it be possible that a pusher fan is spinning slower and letting less air through than the outside air would be able to naturally flow through the radiator at 70mph causing a...

Re: Why the '87 LG4 is superior the previous LG4s.

and the 1985-1986 LG4, having flat tappet cams, and also flat top pistons, are different than the 1984 which has dished pistons, and 1987 with a roller cam. So many different engines in these cars.

Re: Ok so what is the best way to pull the motor/trans?

Re: Ok so what is the best way to pull the motor/trans?

Re: ac causing 220 degrees
