Your other option is to block off the mechanical pump and wire up the FI pump into a fuel pressure regulator down to the fuel pressure you need. Probably spend as just much $$$ doing that vs getting...

Yeah, I only paid a little more for my Aeromotive hanger with fuel pump than what they are asking for that carbed one. But, specialized parts that only fit certain years of cars getting reproduced...

My car is manual conversion with a new repro shift plate/boot. The vinyl is still pretty stiff and basically stands itself up.

Maybe stick a thick o-ring or two on the shift lever? I don't think...

I doubt it's a "can't do it" so much as a "it can be done but most installs would probably be jacked up and look like some 3am meth head project so we'll just say it doesn't work to save ourselves...

Seems like a lot of people have been using the dual bolt pattern Lakewood bellhousing and mounting the TKO and TKX in normal orientation with the standard hydraulic system and fork for over a decade...

Yes, the bellhousing has the bolts clocked 18 degrees or whatever. The transmission mount pad on the T-5 is offset the opposite way so it sits level. Not sure why GM did it that way since the TKO and...

The speed sensor for the T-5 has long been discontinued. Your options are either pay out the wahzoo for a NOS or used one, or get something to adapt a cable drive to electric and convert the signal...

All the pictures I can find of L-31 engines in OEM trim show the PCV at the rear driver side of the VC with the oil fill front drivers, and the breather going to the air cleaner on the passenger side...

I only have their brake line replacements installed so far and other than a few minor bends I had to tweak they fit fine. I also compared the fuel lines to the factory lines and they are very close...

Yeah, I use cardboard or sometimes cardboard over some of those anti-fatigue/workout floor mats.

I like the idea of a creeper, but in practice carboard on the floor is just easier.
