Mine is a carb car also. Easy way would be to plumb an in line pump like you said. However if my tank is able to use this pump i would prefer doing that it just confused me as it said the pump fits...

I've spoke to Holley and they have recommended the attached for my conversion. is it correct my tank has an internal pump? And I can't figure out if i still have to modify my fuel lines...

thanks Joe. My distributor is electronic but i have a vacuum type one i ordered by accident one time which is brand new i've seen people switching to these with this system

Thanks for the reply. I've ordered a new distributor cap, rotor, cover, plugs, leads, and fuel filter. They arrive Friday I'll swap them all out and see if it runs better. Fingers crossed!

It needs some work doing to it anyway and the interior is tatty so i will have to do some work on that. that's why i thought while i was at it i would give it a fresh coat of paint and go for black....
