the hose that is in your case directly over the egr is from the charcoal canister witch contains fuel vapor from the tank and then gets to the throttle body
seems like its leaking should be routed...

i had this once on a mpfi buick
1 injector of 6 got 1 ohm the rest was as it should be around 13ohm
it started ran like 5 sec then died
changed the injectors solved the problem

well hot climate lots of traffic lots of highway driving
would install with 1/2" aluminum pipe 9,5 mm ID bend from the oil cooler adapter away with a SAE 45 flare ,to the backside ( fan side )...

do you have any information why the 1990 3.1 memcal is differend ? or just a better prom for the later models

the only difference i know is that the 1990 3.1 has the secondary air inj. before the o2 sensor and the 1991,1992 after the o2 sensor directly into the cat
so this makes no difference ?

i got some strange idling issues on my 1990 3.1 v6 the car got 124k miles on it and runs smooth .
when i push the clutch and the car is rolling the idle changes from 500 to 1500 rpm bounces up...
