thanks for all the help.....the bearings seem to be out if the stock v6 electric fan & i dont feel its cooling the car enough.....would anyone recommend or would it be a good idea to put a dual fan...

the car is obviously a 91 RS and it went from a 3.1 tpi to a 283...currently it still has the v6 single fan in it....were wondering if that single fan is enough to keep the 283 cool so no damage is...

Price on wiring harness

700r4 tailshaft ?

Does the tail shaft off of a v-6 700r4 fit a caprice v8 700r4. So that the torque arm can be mounted.

I have a 70's 283 i want to drop in place of the wore out 3.1L . I was wondering if it will bolt to my 700r4 tranny. Also will a different flexplate be needed to swap.

once all play has been removed from a pushrod, do you tighten the nut an additional one & a half turn or do you stop when all play is removed???

its a 91 camaro with the 3.1 v6 in it.

I dont think any of them are sticking but is taking everything back apart & physically watching the fuel stop & start the only way to know if their sticking?? :huh: sorry for all the dumb...

Soooo....we found a wire that was broke & that the coil was bad, so both of them is replaced. Next problem, why is it getting sooooo much fuel now thru the injectors that its flooding itself so bad...

one is an old one (the one that was on car before head gasket blew) & one is a new one. neither ICM was removed so no need for grease. neither distributor puts out signal to purple wire but both put...

There is no signal at the purple/white wire when trying to start. Ecm bad or something else?

the fuel pump ran for 2 seconds & injectors pulsed. ive tried 2 different ICMs with the same no fuel pulse on crank over. so where do i go from here? :confused:

the car wasnt running right so we were told it was the computer causing it to miss & carry on & not run right. so we replaced the computer & it stilll wasnt running right. later...

Yep it has spark but no fuel. the distributor, cap, button, wires, plugs are all new.
