No it doesnt need to go all in and its normal you still see some thread. As long as no water leaks its fine. Dont force it too much or you could crack the block!! Probably the stock one managed to go...

Installed this show and go plate kit and its very neat. Only drilled one small hole in the bottom plastic valance. The rest were all existing mounting points. Keeps the front clean IMO.

Yes that will work but if you cannot program the ECM for lower temperature activation i would get a 204 degree switch at least as 213 is already high in my opinion.

I would assume that if I out it instead of the charcoal canister the line length will either be the same or longer than a 2m run. My canister is on the passenger side maybe yours was on the driver...

For the transmission i have the standard setup inside the radiator.

Looks like i should first give it a try then... Before going for an oil cooler.
