the gauge is Autometer Sport Com II, 3663, the sender is 4590-0023. Gauge is stepper motor movement with permanent L.E.D. back light. 0-100 psi. Sender is 1/8 " NPT fitting and also 0-100 psi

Sport Comp II elec fuel pressure gauge

This is the sport comp II electric fuel pressure gauge complete with autometer sender and harness. used for 2 seasons,worked well. One mounting stud is trimmed back to fit in pillar pod location....

Bought refurbished on ebay years ago, CD head rejects CDs about 40% of the time,once loaded it plays fine. Pontiac orange lighting,fits perfectly in my 92 and plugged right in. Not 3rd gen period...

When I put stepper motors in late model GM clusters I use a fork with some masking tape on the side that contacts the gauge face, works like charm.

No, it'll be too long because the 4L80 is longer over all. Have one built with the bigger yoke anyway or for use with a conversion U-joint.

I did it, and as jpearcy mentions you'll have to fab up a crossmember , figure out a torque arm mount and probably shorten your Torque Arm.
Depending on headers or Y-pipe you'll get creative with...

I only ran Type F at the direction of the tranny builder, frankly it's not easy to find around here anyway, but the 4L80e has Dex III in it, again at his request. Out side of that I don't know enough...

You're probably right, the C5 balancer is flush(ish) as opposed the F body's and the truck balancer, so it's probably an illusion that it sits further back.

I used the word "safe" as generality in...
