A shop-vac and soapy water test verified that it is in fact leaking at the collector. Could always have an additional leak at the actual header gasket I suppose but it's hard to get to the passenger...

I didn't see any spots that were really clear. I might just have to try some of that copper RTV stuff in extreme moderation. Likely there's just a tiny spot that doesn't seal.

Weekday bump. The F8->D12 jumper works great by the way, not quite as much control as having a separate input for the high side switch but plenty good enough.

Could be. Check resistance between the positive side and ground. Solenoids are essentially just coils of wire creating an electromagnet, if it reads open circuit then the solenoid is junk. Not sure...

Is it clicking at all? Yeah, judging by the design the solenoid pushes outward which in turn pulls on the cable. If it's not making any sort of sound you should check for continuity between the body...
