Yes you do have to modify the hood, it's not much just a notch will do.

Car has almost 200k on it and the deal for a 1lE sounds good but is the rust to much? The pinch weld area concerns me the most.
Should be able to get it for about 5k. Otherwise the paint looks good,...

It's normally a lot cheaper to just buy a used OEM bar and you can get up to a 36mm Hollow Front. Most (including myself) generally put the 36mm front on since it reduces body roll the most in...

Well Scott sold me on the 6th Gens. Here is how opinion/comparison to the C6 base.

"Pedal feel...input pressure should be about the same for similar braking, pedal height should be about the same...

Sounds like in all reality going with the LS1 fronts with some aggressive pads is really all I need but if I ever get into road racing I'll def want the 4 piston Brembos.

Most people run Koni SA for autocross and it's what I'm buying.

UMI makes good stuff and tests but unless your going national I wouldn't pay the cost over Koni.

QA1/Viking are drag shocks so...
