Yes you are correct, a little known fact, above 4k the LS ECM's revert to batch fire as the injectors can't be fired fast enough to maintain sequential above that.

Im not sure what you are say "joecool", but yes the camaro ECU can be installed with some work. I think Lextec may have rewiring; information to use an LS1 ECU. But thats an entirely different topic.

My son just bought a 92 Z28 Haritage special, that someone did a very poor 4th gen dash swap. we would like to UN-Frick it!! and I guess I'm stupid as I cant find the threads on doing the 4th gen...

3/8 - 16 x 1.25 inch, I order 100 at a time Stainless Steel Allen socket bolts from Flebay, I use the heck out of them. just cut them to length or use washers (i use washers)

TBI and TPI distributors may be the same for like systems but the introduction of the 7730 eliminated the ESC. or am I mistaken on the convertion to 7730???

only if he has a 6 wire modual in the distributor, 4 for com with the ECU and 2 to the pickup coil. and at the very least the modual is NOT pined into the ECU as he Is still trying to use the ESC...

shorted or open knock sensor, or recheck wiring to the ESC, when I repined my truck there was a ground missing on the TPS and IAT had to jumper to a different place

96 to 99 is a vortec motor, or are you working on a vortec truck. if you are you may want to go over to GM Truck Central .com those guys are up on the Vortec stuff

just pick up an early alum headed LT1 93 - 95 $500 to $800 depending on miles, and use your TPI (complete system, larger injectors, with reprogramed Prom and rock the streets, you are making this way...
