Update:

Vacuum leak got fixed with a new carb gasket.
Timing was at well... Uhh... 3. So moved it to 14.
Minor tweaks to the idle speed half a turn or so.

Yes all of the vacuum lines are hooked up. I don't think I have any leaks. I've been told you can spray carb cleaner around the base of the carb to check for leaks, any other good ways to check...

Sitting a a light a Hyundai genesis 3.8 348 hp comes up to the right lane.

Both rolled in from dig (no wheelspins) - Pretty close race to 70, T/A shifts to 2nd early but manually shifted to 3....

The issue was a fuel leak!!!!

On the back bowl of the carb it was chipped inside where the screw would go. Never took that off and it was pretty hidden for a long time.

replaced the bowl.
