Well, the whole point of this build was to do it on the cheap... but i agree with you, it would be much more expensive to do it twice (and aggravating). All it means in the end is more time the car...

Had it sonic checked. The crack is not an issue and does not interfere with any critical oiling systems, or anything really. The guy is still going to break the chunk off...
