Re: What's needed for CC Carb/sp350 combo?

I just wanted to give a quick update - I was able to get everything running well enough to take the car on a vacation from Florida to Texas and back. I think the secondaries could use some tuning but...

Re: Need opinions on CCC spark tables

I'd rather have the initial set manually where I want it but that's easy to change in the prom. Anyways, I get the point. Spark advance does look weird - especially for a "performance chip" made by...

Re: Computer added timing

The reason I started down this path was because of poor off idle acceleration. I decided to check my balancer when I saw so much timing at idle. Even with 12° of advance my marks were off 8° so I was...

Re: Computer added timing

I used a piston stop. Rotated it both ways and marked the balancer using a fixed point on the timing tab. After that I divided the distance between the points and made a final mark.

Need opinions on CCC spark tables

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me understand the function of the spark advance by temp and map/spark advance by rpm and map tables. Specifically, why they don't match the main advance table...

Re: Computer added timing

I disagree - something seems wrong as the last time I checked the timing it only brought it up to 20-25° at idle with EST plugged in. Also, the timing does not back off hardly at all when I rev it up.

Computer added timing
