There is a metal tag bolted to the bottom of the tailhousing on the tranny. The tag has a code on it that will identify exactly what you have. NO other codes, case number or anything else will...

You have to pull the transmission! It is the seal on the input shaft of the transmission for the torque converter!

If all you did was change the clutch there is no reason why you need to bleed the system!! Make sure you put the throwout bearing on the fork properly or it will feel like you dont have enough peddle!

Has anyone used this distributor and had good luck out of it? I know they are a bit pricey but i think it may be about time to ditch the old spring and weight setup if it offers better performance...

It should be plugged in. It tells the computer the air temp reading so it can make fuel adjustments depending on the temperature.

I never do it that way. It's too easy to damage the throw out bearing. All that matters is its in there now! :)

If it has the standard size pistons in it theres a good chance its probly just a regular gm roller block. Doesnt always happen that way but theres a pretty good chance thats what it is.

I didnt know you had the slave cylinder bolted up. Thats why you were having so much trouble. The reason you had to tighten the bolts to draw the tranny up to the bellhousing all the way is just...

Ive had my transmission out probly 7-8 times in the past 3 years ive owned the car and its been the same way every time since i figured out the sweet spot. Drag racing = lots of clutch changes!

I didnt hold the engine up with anything but i still had my exhaust attached. I made sure the pressure plate and clutch were lined up properly. Bolted the bellhousing up, with the fork on the...

Bolt the engine back up to the motor mounts and let it rest backwards! If you exhaust is still hooked up it help keep it from going back so far it smashes something against the firewall

Once you do that its a breeze. just make sure you have the clutch plate lined up good and it will slide right in. dont forget to lube the pilot bearing in the end of the crank while your at it

You have to remove the bellhousing from the tranny and put it on the engine first! Ive ran into this before! Much easier

Like i said before!!!!!!!!! The computer gets a refernce from the control module in the distributor that turns the fuel pump on when the engine cranks, they do have a 2 or 3 second cycle when the key...

It sounds like you need to run a wire that powers the fuel pump with the key on through the relay. I went carb on mine and i just wired mine through a separate switch on the center console but...

You will have to hold it a few. Not ten minutes or anything. Just a good amount of time to blow the water out. Be sure to clean the plugs also. Id bet they are gonna be soaked

Its probably flooded by now. Pull the plugs and crank the motor over with the plugs out itll force the water if you let any in the cylinders when changing the gasket. Unplug the coil first!

The idle is probly higher now because you were having to adjust some things before trying to get it to idle right but it never was with those damaged plugs so you will have to probly just re-adjust...

Metal shaved off+long reach plugs+pistons= smashed spark plugs. It's only caused by a clearance issue. The plugs are just too long
