got a 6.0l ford diesel engine at work from a burnt truck ended up using it for a core because the cylinder was all rusted due to the chemical used to put out the fire
so it might be a good deal but...

5.3 Power steering

I am swapping a 5.3 in my 87 and am using the truck accesories but have one problem i dont know what to do about the p/s hose
Anybody have any ideas?
Also would it hurt the pump to start and run...

No sorry 3rd gen but orig lines were missing when i bought car (prev owner started to repair floor) and i am running braided steel lines to a corvette filter for my 5.3 swap

Fuel Sender Line ID

I am installing custom fuel lines. I know the feed line but which of the other three is the return. Can i block the other two and run a vented cap?

I see that the k-member needs to be notched for oil pan clearance with an ls motor does anyone happen to know how big of a notch is nessesary

$100/hr is quite typical. Thats what the shop i work at charges and we are on the cheaper end. Also an estimated swap according to MITCHELL is 12hrs.
