well, today i tried to measure what i get out from control module...
when im feeding a lamp from the control module, just to check if it can handle load. It wont light up. On the right side it does....

Hi, i have a problem with left headlight motor on my -87 GTA

It wont go up or down, i have changed the "bushings" in the motors.
They were a little bit worn but not much. I cleaned and greased...

That might be a good way to measure it, i think. Have you checked if you have different measurements between the both sides?

This is exactly what i have done once, i bought new cones and machined them. I did not macine the carrier flat...

Maybe machining the carrier is the next step? and then i have to shim it when...

I havent machined anything else than the cones, i think i mentioned that. maybe ;)

At least when my prom broke down, i had the same issues.
on about 2 weeks i had the ses light on for about 15 times and it smelled gas sometimes, then after 2 weeks it...

I know what that spring is for. Its the spring for the seat, its a little resistance when you flip the seat when passengers in the back has to get in / out. That spring make the resistance. :)

Now its running, i bought a ECM and Prom from tunedperformanc
The car runs fine now, but its so much snow here so i cant testdrive it.
Now i have a lot of other stuff that has to be done to...

No i didnt, but i spoke to a guy about the ECM today. He lives near me so that may help me out a bit. He said that the ECM should be exactly the same as mine, but the prom is meant for bigger...

There is a material that doesent scratch as easy as poly-carbonate and it is also much more durable, it doesnt cost much more than the poly-carbonate.

I dont remember what the name of that "glass"...

Problem is that i only have the aftermarket chip, i bought the car this way.
and the limp home mode doesnt take me home :) im pretty shure its impossible to drive the car now. it just dies.
