Yup it was pretty straightforward on my 87 T/A, I picked up an a/c delete box to make more room. If I remember right I had to change over the little coil plug. Just make sure the system is evacuated...

Thanks still trying to figure out how to post pictures on here, I'm not really a computer guy. It's an 87 T/A 305 auto, only 85,000 kms, in pretty good shape for a Canadian car.

Any luck Irocinit? I connected my multitester to the alt and it's spiking up to 18.xx volts, so I tried wiggling some wires while watching the volts, my problem may lie in the wire harness running...

Just removed the entire ac system from my 87 TA, compressor, firewall box, radiator part (condensor?) had to cut through the lines to get out, make an offer cheap$$ 647-389-6058

ctoledo for now I have installed a battery switch on the neg cable, so I shut it off nightly. I'm going through the whole wiring system this winter to get to the bottom of this. It's a pain but still...
