Highest point I can trace the leak to is a puddle that pools on the engine rear of head. Set timing wrong at first and got a couple of fires with piston in wrong position, maybe blew "head gasket"...

Getting a visual on heater core hoses I don't see it dripping down firewall itself or from the soft line fittings

I got her started again. enough for coolant smell up top and leaking down, couldn't see anything from up top. Inside is still dry.

On my 88 Iroc the 5.7 TPI the CLSTR keeps melting. I have found that in my setup it powers the MAF burn-off Relay and my engine fans with ignition power.
I don't have digital cluster either....

Yeah when I got the car they said they put 90's engine in. Does it look like the 3.1 or could it be a 3.4? But I never could match any parts. So newer engine with all the 2.8 accessories?

Nice, I am hoping that the engine just needs cleaning/new gaskets really. I have not got to the bearing as of yet.
