I'm guessing you'll be using a 26 spline t5?
I was originally going to do this swap in my thirdgen but have since decided to lsx swap my C4 instead.

To mate a v6 t5 to a sbc you would need the sbc bellhousing. As well as the appropriate clutch and flywheel.

Re: V6 to a V8

With the appropriate flywheel clutch and a sbc bellhousing it will bolt up to the t5. Here in a sec a million guys will tell you not to do it since the T5 is apparently made of glass.

Re: 1st time owner PROject: CAMARO rs 3.8l v6 (stock)

05 gt was rated at about 300hp so I wouldn't bother with a 200hp v6 as you found out the hard way. Car looks pretty clean. I'd drive it and enjoy it for what it is.

Re: 700r4 to 4.3 truck t-5. Have few questions...

V6 from a 4th gen uses the ford pattern so it won't mount to a sbc. Considering all the parts needed you're not doing the whole swap for $200.

Re: 700r4 to 4.3 truck t-5. Have few questions...

The ford t5 has a diff bellhousing pattern so it won't bolt to a sbc. And I wouldn't want a nv3500 in an f body. Have you driven it? Had a 95 c1500 with one and the first gear was pretty much...
