horrible day for my gta.I went to advance auto and brought some high mileage Freon for the ac unit in my car i put a half of can of the Freon through the ac low side.to get the compressor to engage...

well its has the stock L98 in it now but i have a 07 4.8 with a holset turbo that's going to be put together the only thing that modified now is the transmission and that came from good fella...

lol well its a dream for now until I go through my swap i just slowly building the car around the motor and trans.Its a 4.8 vortec with a hc1 holset turbo(which i currently have)or a gt45 turbo...

they do make great boost and the are very underrated. I have one in my 91 gta and 80 Monte Carlo.with good heads intake and cam they can make close to 500hp with a solid roller cam they can make over...

I think i have the same gear ratio in my 80 lemans and monte carlo,I have overdrive transmissions attached to both of them 200r4 and 700r4.One of them have a 406 tpi sbc the other has a 4.8 ls vortec...

Yea i was looking at the hurricane single plane intake as well.but after seeing this setup im leaning toward what you have.I already have a 58 tb on my tpi setup.

yes that is very impressive well i thinking maybe with the 4.8 with ls1 pistons it should be close to the 500 hp range easy.then and maybe gain another 20 pounds of torque.They did a back to back...

Well thats what i am hopping that my motor can last for at least 250,00o to 300,000 miles that would be great.I just had the head rebuilt.so that way it would save me the hassle later on down the road
