lt1 intake
Hello I know that the lt1 intake conversion is the thing that has been gaining some popularity.I think about getting a hurricane intake for my 408 sbc.it currently has the tpi setup with the slp runners and edelbrock bottom.I know i could really benefit from either intake.Im just trying to think if it would be worth going with the lt1 conversion vs the other intakes for my 408.
Has anyone added any ideas that improve the conversion.

Re: lt1 intake
Only really viable now if you can do the required machining and mods yourself.
What RPM range are you looking to run ?
Is generally accepted that if you want a big cube engine to run up top then you
need a short runner intake ;
HSR ,MR ( similar to LT1 conversion) or a SP like the Hurricane

10 years ago before reasonably priced TPI alternatives like the HSR were available
