235 width on GTA rims?
Hi all.
Really struggling to find the correct 245 50 r16 tyres here in the UK.
I seem to be able to get 235 50 r16 though. I didn't mind dropping a little width if they will work OK on these rims? I know most people are looking to put wider rubber on lol

I think 235 is still a pretty good width tyre so it will look fine. As long as they aren't being stretched on the rims and they are all good that's all I'm really worried about for now

It can be done but it will look awful. I would keep searching locally, or find a US company that ships internationally.

Whats a good 16 inch tire size that would fit on the 16 inch rim? A taller tire would be fine as well.

I managed to get a new set of 245 55 r16s for the rear which look great. Old tyres top and the new ones on the bottom of the pic
There's a guy here in the UK with 225 width on his fronts and they look alright to be honest. I might go with 225 50s on the front as they are much easier to get here

225-55-16. They are the stock height but a lil more narrow than 245 50 16. Look fine to me just not quite as wide .7 inches or there about.
