Re: bmw wheels .

It's not the same bolt pattern, close enough it could be made to work.
I wouldn't use them - I saw this a little while ago (made them work)...

Re: bmw wheels .

If you are going to run "spacers" anyway, another approach is to use an "adapter" instead. The car doesn't need to change, nor does the wheel, just have a "spacer" with both the needed bolt patterns. I know custom ones can be made. I'm not sure if there is anything "off the shelf" but it's likely...

Re: bmw wheels .

I just went through all of this. You will need spacer/adapters 4.75 GM to 5x120mm BMW. I met this guy on eBay and will be buying them from him:

https://www.ebay.com/usr/tireshopsupplies?ul_noapp=true

He recommended hub centric adapters that are on both sides of it. One for the stock center hub and one for the BMW rims. Really cool guy to talk to. I am getting 1.5" thick for up front and 3/4" for the back. The rims I have a +35mm, being my bird is +16 up front and 0mm back. Also, get a 245/40 18 tire. This is 26" wide which is very close to the 245/50 16 tires my bird has anyway. My rims are JNC026 8" wide.

Re: bmw wheels .

Yes, BMW wheels work nicely. Look at post 2419.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/whee...rd-gen-49.html
I used wheels for a M5. The 3 series have the wrong off set. I used a 6mm spacer on the front and 10mm on the rear. When I had my Moser rear built I had the extra width built into it but it worked with the spacers also. I did install longer lug studs with the spacers to be safe but it works either way.
The BMW wheels are on a 112 BC which is 0.020 larger than 4 3/4" but it's not been a problem for me. Just make sure you torque wheels evenly and low to high to make sure they pull in correctly since it is now lug-centric. The hubs centers don't line up.
