Wheel Offsets - so many options.

Wheel Offsets - so many options.
After coming to the realization that I won't see the rims I wanted from 6LE , I am making new decisions on what wheel to go with. Because I already special ordered 275/35R18 tires and have them in the basement I'd like to stay with the 18x9.5 wheel size. I think I am settling on the OE Performance 117H wheel style, but it comes in two offset options, a +40 or a +50 offset. From a visual standpoint, I want as thin of a spacer as necessary, but fit and function are important. I have stock disc/drum brakes that won't get upgraded for at least 2 more years, if ever.
The +40 has a backspace of 6.82 inches and the +50 has a backspace of 7.22 inches.
Other than changing what thickness of spacer I need, are there other things I should be asking or considering when I decide which wheel offset to buy?
Here are the links to each wheel:

The only thing that will change the setup would be brake upgrades, but if your using a wheel that already requires a thick spacer, it's not as much if any issue because you can always buy a thinner spacer later if needed.

Yes, right now the car has stock disc / drum brakes, and stock 16" IROC wheels. I will eventually upgrade brakes to disc/disc. Probably whenever the stock rear axle breaks, because I'll upgrade to the S60 and Wilwood 11" discs in the rear with that axle upgrade. However, that will probably be another year or two, unless the axle breaks sooner.

Re: Wheel Offsets - so many options.
That tire can go 10 or 9.5 a 10.5 maybe a tad stretch but not to bad just depends
On the tire brand as some look more or less stretch
And you can run staggered or square I recommend square and 10 all around or 10.5
9.5 will do but the wider wheel looks better to me personally as I don’t like the very tuck in look so much but spacers can help that as well anyways
