i dont think anyone other than Z/28 owners have their hands on these rims.
you cannot purchase them without a title and vin number for a real Z, they are on the restricted list from GM.

ok, well in that case then. no i havent seen any third gens with them nor do i know of anyone that has does a 20x10 on the front of a third gen. i dont think it would look good and you will need to be a wizard to get them to fit properly with no clearance issues.

Re: 5th gen Z/28 wheels?
There are two threads about this within sight of this thread.
Five threads below:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/whee...en-wheels.html
And twelve threads below that thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/whee...amaro-5th.html
And yes, the 5thgen wheels that are most common and most popular are the 20" wheels; replicas are readily available. There was a similar 19" wheel found on some earlier 5thgens, but it was rarely used. And there was also an 18" wheel that's sort of a modern version of an IROC wheel, often found on 5thgen V6s.

He was specifically talking about the 5th gen Z28 wheels which are quite a bit different than those in the threads you posted.

Re: 5th gen Z/28 wheels?
I'll make my standard safety comment: Please take into account the 3gen's 4 3/4" = 120.65mm bolt circle versus the 5th gen's 120mm bolt circle. It will APPEAR to bolt up nicely, but you will be side-loading the studs and creating a dangerous condition.
Fortunately, you will almost certainly be running a spacer/adapter and can order adapters for BOTH patterns to do this safely... 4 3/4 on the car side, and 120mm on the wheel side.
On to the content: I think the 5G Z28 wheels look very cool, maybe even on a 3rd gen.
However:

However:
- 19's or 20's on a 3rd gen... not may taste
- 10" wide... easy with the correct spacer thickness.
- 305mm wide tires... read up on the autoX and road racing threads forums (FRRAX) to see how to run tires that wide.
- 5G tires are 28" tall versus the 25.4"-26" 3G factory. You will automatically eat up 1" of tire-to-fender clearance AND lift the whole car 1" higher off the ground... may look 4x4.

I found the MRR 228 (z28 reps) come In 20x9 with a 35mm offset. These may be a better option. I am still up in the air on what wheel/tire combo I'm going to run.

Re: 5th gen Z/28 wheels?
Here are some available tires, copied from a 5th gen site... all giving a 28"+ tall wheel/tire. Notice the recommended width is 265-285.
245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
255/45-20 = 29.0" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
265/40-20 = 28.4" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/40-20 = 28.9" tall, 9.0-10.0 wheel
295/35-20 = 28.1" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel
305/35-20 = 28.4" tall, 10.0-10.5 wheel
315/35-20 = 28.7" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel
Here are some other available sizes, courtesy of TireRack, to give you shorter overall height.
275/30-20 = 26.5" tall
275/35-20 = 27.6" tall
285/25-20 = 25.6" tall ... effectively the same overall diameter as stock 245/50-16s... just with 2" less sidewall.
