want some wheels, need opinions
i'm wanting to get some wheels for my 92 I just got. There's sooo many choices out there i'm not sure what to choose. Whats some of your idea's? given the color of my car etc....all I know is the red on these factory wheels is faded to pink and need to go!
was thinking maybe some chrome 16" or 18" iroc replica's, or some 17" torq thrust II's....cant find a source for ROH's anywhere, but i'm sure you all know of some place
any idea's would be greatly appreciated, lots of really nice third gens on here
thanks

Re: want some wheels, need opinions
While there are choices out there, there aren't too many affordable, bolt on wheels in 17" and larger.
Typically I don't plug my own wheels, but I want you to come take a look at what we offer. Wheels are 17" x 9.5" and come in silver and satin black:

Refinish the wheels with either red or black insets.

Re: want some wheels, need opinions
wow, those look really sharp
spacers need to be used to use the 01-02 wheels right?
thanks for the suggestions guys
sometimes hard to find a good internet deal on wheels that will fit and the offset be just right on the third gens

Re: want some wheels, need opinions
easiest thing in the world to do it yourself.
Clean them real good, mask off the parts you don't want red or black, and spray them with caliper paint. Take off the tape, and you're good to go

Re: want some wheels, need opinions
How about Ronal R15 reproductions? Bolt on 17x9 and black inserts would look great on your car Or red if you want it more like the stockers.
edit: sorry for the huge pic!

Re: want some wheels, need opinions
there are very few offself bolt on and go wheels
paul from CTW is one of them and decent price for light weight wheels that can fit about any BBK
Ronal look amazing for a period correct wheel
reproductions are cool but heavy , i would find orm wheels and just redo tehm to make them look nice if your going for stock look
as you see in wheel thread the tried and true and done way to may times are 4th gen or corvettte wheels due to the avalability and can be found for not much money
if you want to spend a couple thousand then you can get ones made to fit a thirdgen
or you can just find wheels with bmw or chevy bolt pattern and get some adapters or spacers
there are also couple bmw wheels that some use on our thirdgen looks good and can be found for cheap
