Painted iroc wheels?

Anyone paint their single line iroc (86-87) wheels a color other than the get they came as? Got any pics? I have a white vert and my wheels are various degrees of faded. Trying to decide whether to paint them a similar color to original or maybe something different.

Re: Painted iroc wheels?

Not single bar IROCs they're 2 bar but I painted mine twice. Gold first and didn't like them against the car color, then a charcoal grey metallic.

Re: Painted iroc wheels?

It was a color from a Subaru of some type if I remember correctly. I still have the paint and will give a code when I get home if it hasn't gotten dripped on the label. It's not even close to the factory gold if that's what you're interested in.

Did you primer them or just paint and clear? I'm in the process of doing my double line wheels.

Re: Painted iroc wheels?

The center cap bases were the original ones. I cut the inserts from 2012 cruz ( I think?) centers to fit inside and glued them in.
