C6 ZO6 wheels... finally

Picked up a set of OEM ZO6 wheels for my 89 IROC-Z. They are 18x8.5 front and 19x10 rear. The first thing I noticed about these wheels is how light they are, lighter than the stock 16x8 wheels that came on my car. At least they feel lighter.

The only question I have is what to do for lug nuts? Do the corvettes use lug covers like our third gens? Since these are silver wheels I don't think chrome lugs would look right.

Spacers are ordered also... 2" front and 2.5" rear

Couple more pics with 2-1/4 adapters in the rear. Perfect fit even with sportline springs... going to massage the inner fender a little to gain additional clearance but I don't for see any rubbing.

Yes vettes used plastic caps over lugs. I used ebay and found a set of silver c5 z06 lug covers and used them on my c6 grey wheels.

You can use black as well, as it works with silver. Stock camaro blacks may fit

I didn't even think to try my stock lug nuts and covers... I'll see what it looks like tonight. Yesterday I ran across some pics of those wheels with chrome lug nuts and it actually didn't look bad... but I'd rather keep it how GM had it from the factory.

Thanks for the tip!

I hate to tell you this but those are base C6 wheels. Not Z06s. I think it'll look better though since everyone and their brother has Z06s. This is a C6 Z06 wheel for comparison. http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225...jKVHs6xxqg.jpg

Your right, thanks for setting me straight. Shows how much I know about corvette wheels... I just assumed they were since they have that five spoke design. Such as the OEWHEELLSLLC.COM ZO6 wheels... but after looking again I see the difference. Either way I like these wheels, they go with my paint scheme and fill the fenders out. And like you said, it's good to be different.
