Wheel spacers, stupid question regarding brakes
Im not a fan of the look of the recessed brakes when using spacers.
Is it plausible to run the disc between the spacer and the wheel and extend out the caliper from the mounting bracket like 1.5" by welding on extensions. Im using 2010 SS brakes.
I dont plan on doin any autocrossin or crazy stuff.

Re: Wheel spacers, stupid question regarding brakes
Interesting idea. I prefer to just run wheels that fit & do not require any spacers.
The caliper would have to be very well supported & have very minimal deflection, under the hydraulic pressure when clamping on the rotor during stopping.
I wouldn't trust it.
