4th Gen Wheels / Tires / Rear on 3rd
Wondering if anyone is running a complete 4th gen rear setup on a 3rd gen.
Looking to replace wheels / tires 275/40 x 17 and rear end with a 4th gen's.
Will this clear the stock rear fenders or is rolling required?
I would think the front clearance could be adjusted with the spacers used. Any ideas on spacer thickness?

I believe people use 2" spacers for the wheels. A 4th gen rear swapped should need no spacers and should fit that tire fine. I want to say I've heard people going even 315's, but that might be on a 4th gen car.

Re: 4th Gen Wheels / Tires / Rear on 3rd
I have a 3.23 4th gen posi rear (off a 95 camaro) with LS1 brakes and Chrome Corvette ZR1 rims, 17" x 9.5" +56mm, Kuhmo ECSTA Supra, 285/40s on it, before the 4th gen rear swap, I had to use 2" wide spacers. Now I did roll the fenders just a little bit with a baseball bat.
I do have a stock set set of 4th gen wheels and tires, and the fenders would not have to be rolled to use them.
On the front I have 275/40s on the same 17 x 9.5, +56mm ZR1s, and I need a 2 1/4" spacer. But stock 4th gen wheels only need a 2" wide spacer on the front.

I am unsure of the actual wheel's width, they are 2001 WS6 Transam wheels. I will check the offsets once I pick them up and compare them to your ZR-1 wheels offset.
The 275/40's will be on a four corners as well. Is this what tire you guys are seeing with 2" spacers up front? I am assuming so, as it is the stock size tire.

If you ever look for aftermarket rear suspention parts, pretty much every piece is the same for 82-02

I have 373 but no disc brakes. I want to find an rear end with the disc brakes and just swap the hole rear end. But i wonder if my stock 89 Iroc wheels will still fit after doind this swap ?

Yeah, everything works in the back. I am going to be grabbing everything including shocks, springs, and stabilizer bar. The rear shocks have different part #s but look simular so we will see if they fit.
I was also going to try the front stabilzer as well, but am unsure if it will work. The front end of 3rd to 4th gens are quite different.

The 89 IROC wheels will probably NOT fit with the 4th Gen rear!
Different offsets on the wheels.

I have 16 inch Irocs on a 95 LT1 rear with no problems, they are known to clear LS1 brakes also. The only thing is they stick out a tiny bit.
