I Need Help....

Anyone that has a 1982-1984 2.8 laying around for parts I need the exhaust flange or sleeve that fits in between the manifold and Y pipe. My local Chevy garage said that they could get the part but couldn't guarantee that it would be the right one. The picture attached has "ears" on the flange but some of them don't.
If you can help me out please contact me.

Wow, that looks different than mine. Mine is just a round piece of steel, without the ears. It should be easy enough to get from a junkyard...

My orginial ones (That I misplaced) didn't have the ears on it either. The one the chevy garage showed didn't have the ears on it also but they want $22.00 a piece for them and can't guarantee if they are the right pieces or not.

Start visiting local muffler shops.
You shouldn't have this much of a problem.
May even get them for free, as left overs in pile in back.

I already done that.

Good news though today I finally found a set from another yard. I took them off and only paid $10 for the pair. Hopefully I can get the time to put the new exhaust system on this weekend.

Bummer... here, it's more like "after 20 rows of cars, you might find 3 3rd gens."
