hadn't heard of that one, then again all i did was google 3.4 camaro. and boy i saw a whole lot about "how to make it fast" "what exhaust sounds best" lot of pointless questions. all i want is mine not to blow the engine again (technically wasn't mine when it did it before)

Re: so can i post about a 4th gen here?

If it's strictly engine related, seeing as the 3.4 is a 60 degree V6 and it's a popular swap into the 3rd gen, I don't see a problem with posting about it here, especially of upgrades are involved. If a thread were to get too far off into 4th gen only land, well then that's a bit of an issue.

Re: so can i post about a 4th gen here?

pretty much engine related as thats the cars only problems lol. i was planning the fabled hybrid swap. thinking 3100/3400 heads cam intake and iirc i saw it mentioned somewhere that custom pushrods are needed? that something any machine shop could handle? anyone know of what to do along the lines of how to make this sucker stay cool? besides a 160 thermostat and a fan kit (bypasses all 5 or however many of the relays in the factory fan wiring, still thermostatically controlled)

Get rid of the hassles and just do a lt1 swap. I had a 3800 and pondered with upgrades then a 97 donor fell in my lap for a grand. Was kind of a no brainer, did the swap in 3 weeks
