MAF sensor

So guys I am trying to find the wire that plugs into the maf sensor. Any help here? I have a 92 with a 3.1 with a front end from a pre 89. Where am I supposed to be looking?

Re: MAF sensor

It's a MAP sensor on the '92 and it should be mounted on the firewall on the passenger side. Follow the vac line from the back of the plenum.

Re: MAF sensor

Oh ok so the maf sensor must be from the front end. Thanks that helps!

Re: MAF sensor

There isn't a MAF on a 90-92, period. If you're getting either a code 33 or 34, the system is referring to the MAP. If your car has a MAF (and chances are it doesn't unless someone did some serious screwing with the engine controls), it will be in the air duct between the filter and the throttle body bellows.
