Alternator relocation.

So I've been reading around and I figure since ill be down there removing the smog pump. Is there a way to put the alternator in its place? I just think it will clean up things alot and will make top end work less of a pain.

Re: Alternator relocation.

Back when I built my Franken60, I did just that, I moved the alternator down to where the A.I.R. Pump would have been.

I shortened the actual bracket to fit better than using spacers, and made a custom upper bracket that also supported the tensioner.

If I put it down do I ( or should I) support the tensioner
