Re: OIL

I use to run Valvoline 10-40, then to their Rottella T 10-40 due to the Sulfur it has added into it. Thats what we use in the 18 wheelers. I did do Royal purple for 2 times, First time was great (still purple at oil changing time), then they changed owners/formulas and it sucks now (black and burnt oil change). Now I use Ams oil 10-40, Its awesome, brought the v6 more life. Its rated 15k miles with a filter change at 7500. I have 7k on my oil and its still amber color. So I would suggest paying the little extra, and getting Ams oil.

Re: OIL

I just run the cheapest **** I can pick up at O'reilly's, in a 10w30 flavor... That little carb 2.8 v6 in my car isn't worth anything more than that..

Re: OIL

I run Royal Purple, have for about 3 years now.

It's always been purple at oil change (about once a year/10000 KMs), and I'm not easy on my car.
