Re: 3.8 blower vs turbo poll
I keep giung back and forth between which i want to do. lol
The only bolt on blower kit ive found would be pretty tall which means probable clearance issues with a stock hood. A centrifugal supercharger would be great but costs an arm and a leg. Turbo setups are just easier despite what seems to be more fabrication work imo.

Re: 3.8 blower vs turbo poll
I think that the turbo set up is the way to go. I'm planning on doing it on my 2.8, but it's going to be set up like a Chevy Corvair. It will be alot cheaper that way! I don't plan on going over 4-5 lbs boost as it a early 2.8. Later on when I'm able to step up to a 3.4, then I'll add the wastegate and intercooler. Plus I'll go with a bigger turbo. That's a long way down the road for me.
