hey guys
well lately my car (92camro v6 3.1 5 speed ) has been backfiring well more like a rumble when i downshift or let off the gas !
sometime my car seems like it have a dead spot or a flat spot ?
iam thinkin timing or a bad o2.
i havent got any codes yet !
but my cat was clogged and replaced with a high flow aftermarket one!
so this weekend iam gonna get fresh gas and some seafoam and change the o2 sensor !

Go ahead and do a general tuneup on it, when you seafoam, make sure you put some of it through the intake, that's where it makes the biggest difference. New spark plugs, wires if needed, fuel filter, and air filter, check the timing. If not any of those it's probably a sensor, and it won't necessarily throw a code either, like I did a tuneup once on my mom's car cause it kept stalling and needed the tuneup anyways, right after I finished the SES light came on, before I even started i told her that if it kept stalling after her IAC, TPS or o2 sensor was probably bad, guess what the SES light was? Bad o2 sensor, put a new one in, and the car ran like it was new

hey there thanks for the reply !
ive done a tune up gonna do sea foam again bc after the first tuneup my cat clogged on me ! it burned up wire fouled out the plugs and killed my coil !
changed
the coil
the wires
the plug
the rotor
the oil
the filter
so tomorrow iam gonna get the following
a o2 sensor
a cts sensor
a tps
a oil pressure sender bc mine never moves
