code 34 high idle

Was getting code 34. Replaced maf and code went away. Idle drops to normal level for a few sec sometimes. Code come back maybe once every two weeks. Already replace iac and replaced and adjusted tps. Both helped a lot but car still idles between 1000 and 1500 daily. Can anybody help me track down the cause

We need a lot more information here before we can help. We don't even know what year the car is...

Re: code 34 high idle

Sorry for the lack of info. 1989 rs. I think I got it figured out now. I unhooked the connector that plugs into the maf and wiggled the wires around then plugged it back in and the car has been dropping down to 700rpm at idle on and off all day. So I ordered a new connector from oriellys. Be here sat. But now I have another question. Since the car has been idling way high since I bought it feels and sounds weird at 700. Is it supposed to sound almost choppy or be a steady rumble when idling at 700?
