Swapping the stock 2.8L throttle body...
Can I change the throttle body? Like swapping it from a 3.4L? I read somewhere that you can do that. Or is it no different in power gain? I checked on www.Holley.com for the 3210, does it work for the Camaro? The only problem is, I don't have $400 right now to spend.

3210 won't work for you as you don't have a carburetor or TBI engine. 3.4 throttle body is the same as the 3.1 (I think... the mounting surface might be different for IAC air inlet). In order to swap to a newer TB, you have to switch to a later-model upper plenum. FWD throttle bodies don't fit, been there, tried that, still have that TB sitting in my garage.

So I would have to basically swap out my 2.8L for a 3.1/3.4L if I want any real power increases?

Only problem, I would have to pay someone to port it. I knew I should have gotten the 5.7L when I had the chance... Haha, nah, I love the challenge of making this car faster, already modded the stock air intake to create more air flow, and gave a noticeable increase, wasn't much but it's something.
It's really exhilerating when you beat some kid in his Civic with a 2.8L Camaro.

I'm glad this topic came up. I KNOW I saw a link on here to a guys website who ports TB's for these cars. You send it to him, he does it, and he sends it back. Anyome know where that link went? From what I remember his price was pretty fair.

That's about the only way to get a freer TB... Pretty much ALL 60* V6 TB's are the same size.
