Apparently mods deleted my thread asking why you V6 guys keep V6s in em. Now, I don't know about you all, but I don't think anyone was overly offensive or anything in the topic, it was just guys throwing their opinions around about 3rd gens, the whole point of this site. Whatever mod deleted my topic, you had no reason to.

yeah that is BS........ probably and overly sensitive v6 owning mod..... ive found myself trolling ls1tech alot more now days cause of the uptightness of this site o well though its how the world is....

I locked it b/c the reasons started to repeat themselves. I personally found nothing offensive in it. I am sure that 2 point 8 boy had a reason to delete it. I would guess that he was getting the same e-mails that I was from certain members that did find the thread pointless. I am pretty laid back about post b/c I know how it is when you go to a mostly V8 site and as soon as it is known you have a V6 all of sudden you become the red headed step child. With that said I am going to go ahead and lock this post also.

The only reason I deleted the thread is because I was asked by a couple other members. I try to be pretty lax and let things play out, as long as things don't get out of hand because everyone's opinion is valuable.

Now, that said, I would appreciate it if everyone would please keep from putting someone else down, even if you don't think you're doing it, please be mindful of others.

There have been MANY instances where it started as a simple, "why do you own a V6" question, but has quickly escalated into a flame-fest. It's a serious pet peeve of mine. For the record, I also hate the fact that everyone thinks they can make their V6 a racecar, but that is a personal opinion, and this is the first time that I'm sharing it. Everyone is free to do wha they want with their cars until I start paying for them...that's what I think. I am here to help people in whatever way I can, without discriminting or offending, so that's what I try to do with the least amount os bias, one way or another.

Anyway, that's the reson for the delete. I didn't mean to offend anyone, just trying to keep the general peace. Please feel free to PM me with any concerns, complaints, or whatever. If there is an issue, PLEASE let me know.
