Car won't start.

I had just taken a 600mile trip to El Paso, and on the way back my car just shut off while on the highway. When trying to start it again, it started once for about 15seconds and then died again. Everytime after that it wouldn't start. I've checked for spark and it does have it, also can hear the fuel pump turn on. I looked under the distributor cap to check for damage, especially since El Paso was just flooded and I can see waterspots all over my engine. But i don't think the water has anything to do with it being it had already been driving for 7hours before it decided to go. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. - Jim

yo hear the fp working, but is it pushing enough psi to do anything constructive?

also, how are the vats wires holding up?

Not sure about the pressure, nor do I have anything to check it. And the VATS is disabled. Has been for 2 years. What I did notice is that one of the relays on the firewall makes a ticking noise, I don't know how often but i've only heard it do that 1 other time and that was when my ignition module went. Perhaps it could be my fuel relay??

Went to go get my car towed today, it's 150miles away sitting on the side of the highway, I got about 50miles there and my girlfriends car starts overheating. So we pulled over, let it cool down, and put some water in it...car doesn't want to start either.
