Edelbrock Part Numbers

I was going through some catalogs and found my old Edelbrock catalog. I figured that I would pass on some part numbers to you guys.

The manifolds they carry for the 82-85 2.8 are as followed:
There is a performer 2V 60* base part number #3785
Performer 2V Top (EGR) #3787 This is recommend to use with the stock carb

The performer 4V 60*
The base is #3785
The 4V Top (Non-EGR) #3789
They recommend a 390 cfm carb (Holley #0-8007)

The performer-plus camshift kit is #3790

Chrome Valve Covers
2.8 (No Baffle) #4488
Throttle Bracket kit #4418 (It is included with the valve covers)

Would switching my 89MPFI to a high perf. Carb increase performance? Seems like it would be a lot easier to work on too.
