Torsen differential?

Torsen differential?
I'm still looking at swapping a 4th gen rear end into my '89 Camaro, and I'm wondering if the Torsion differential equipped cars got the G80 ("locking axle") RPO code on the equipment list sticker. I know torsens are considered "posi's" but it's my understanding that they work a little differently than the traditional clutch style posi's in that they behave like an open diff. in certain situations; also when you jack the car up and turn one wheel the other turns the opposite way like an open diff. I thought because of this GM might not have given them the G80 code.
I was also wondering if a rear end on a V-6 stickshift 2002 F-body would possibly have a Torsen. I found such a rear end at a local salvage yard but there's no way to pull the cover to see what it actual has on the inside, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth the $200 price to buy it. It has the 3.23 gear code which is a lot better than the 2.73 I currently have, and obviously it has disc brakes and 28 spline axles. This rear end I could bolt on and go (after servicing the brakes) vs. having to completely rebuild the one I have now which is a badly rusted, drum brake equipped mess.
