T5 Input Shaft Interference?

T5 Input Shaft Interference?
Almost ready for my second attempt to install the original T5 behind a newer, one piece rear main seal engine. My first attempt lead to the clutch not disengaging, I believe because the pilot bushing was 0.005" larger than the crank hole. However, I'm looking at every piece of the system to try and reduce the chance of doing this again . Is there any difference in the crank hole depth between an older two-piece block and a later one-piece? I'm wondering if the front of the input shaft could be making contact with the crank.
