Up shift point 700r4
I know I can go get a shift kit and whatnot. I'm trying to learn some old-school tricks. I hear tales of people drilling the weights or grinding them to up the wot shift rpm in drive. Anyone done this? Anyone able to explain the process? I have a corvette servo and a new TV cable. I need more rpm in drive at WOT.
The reason I don't want to go buy a kit is I want the old-school tricks. Auto Trans are voodoo black magic Bluetooth shifting pieces of metal that I don't understand. I'm trying to learn how people tuned these things before you could just buy a part.

Um... yeah.
You are going to drive yourself nuts with this unless you have a Scale that measures in increments of 1mg, and a lot of patients.
Just do yourself a huge favor, and let people who performed all the needed calculations, provide you with a solution.
Purchase one of these: Superior Transmission Parts #K018.

Re: Up shift point 700r4
You made the right move of starting with a Corvette servo. Fine tune from there.
