Speedometer gear housing question

Engine: L30 TBI 5.0L Vortec
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: Stock
Speedometer gear housing question

I managed to break my housing at the tail shaft while trying to tighten it yesterday. I have the red 37 driven gear and found a replacement below. Anyone know if this will work or any better option??
