New to t brake and aftermarket rear end.
I am looking at doing a project this winter where I would install a trans brake in my car and also upgrade the rear end. My question is I only plan to have about 500 horsepower running possibly by 10 seconds in the quarter mile. If I was to put a transbrake properly built into a th350 would be okay. And if not what would the difference be mounting wise to put a th400 into my V6 turbocharged Camaro.
I have looked at BTE and they do sell a 1000 horsepower rated trans brake th350 for about $1600 which is not out of my price range if I don't have to rebuild it or do anything to it
Also I know that my 10 bolt rear end even though it is built up as much as you can would not last. From what I see the 8.8 at Hawks would be the lowest price direct swap into my car. Does anyone else have any suggestions for a direct replacement rear end that cost around $2,000.
