I used a tick master cylinder for my lq4 t56 swap, but the stock ls1 master cylinder works too.

So you just drilled a round hole? I know the ls1 clutch cylinder has the "locking tabs" to get installed instead of the bolting down to the firewall

I used fourth gen pedals, so I just used the part the master cylinder connects to as a template. I drilled out the bolt holes, and used a metal knockout punch to make the hole for the master cylinder.
